ZUMA Gets BIG!
|
|
March 24, 2004 - San Clemente, CA - ZUMA Press, the world's premiere editorial picture agency and wire service, is proud to announce an expanded relationship with BIG Pictures, the United Kingdom's largest entertainment picture agency. ZUMA has worked with BIG for over three years and now represents their content exclusively in North and South America.
"Representing BIG Pictures is a major coup for ZUMA's entertainment division," says Trish Murphy, ZUMA's VP of sales. "BIG's access and timing are phenomenal. Their photographers find the hottest spots in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and London even before the spot is recognized as the 'place' to go, and they deliver the exclusive celebrity candid media outlets need," she says.
Easy steps to search over 33,300+ BIG Pictures images, including many exclusives on ZUMApress.com
BIG's images are all key-worded with ZBP to make them easy to find.
Log on to ZUMApress.com.
In the FIND PHOTOS box, type ZBP and click SEARCH.
The results of this search will present all BIG Pictures images in our online database.
For a more targeted search of BIGís content, type the name or subject you're looking and add ZPB after it.
For example: Search for Oscar winner Jude Law in BIG's collection. Type Jude Law ZBP. You will pull up 447 images today.
For more information about licensing BIG Pictures content in the Americas, please contact Trish Murphy at 949.481.3747.

Today, ZUMA Press also announces the appointment of JEANINE POHLHAUS as ZUMApress.com Picture Editor. Pohlhaus joins ZUMA with over a dozen years of industry experience. She has served as the photo editor for the Aperture Foundation, Audubon Magazine, Swanstock, Sipa Press and the Dana Foundation, among other organizations.
"Part of what makes Jeanine such a strong editor is her eye. She is an accomplished photographer in her own right. ZUMA is photographer run and proud to add someone of her caliber to our team," said Scott Mc Kiernan, director and founder of ZUMA Press.
Pohlhaus' work has appeared in many leading publications, including the New York Times Sunday Magazine, George, Psychology Today, Photo District News and Foto8 (online), and it's been featured on the national PBS television series EGG: The Arts Show. She also lectures and exhibits her work in universities and galleries across the country. Pohlhaus is working on a 10-year project that documents the life of a family coping with a parent's mental illness.
