New ZUMA
Expands Middle East Coverage
May
12, 2004 - San Clemente, CA - ZUMA
Press is proud to announce that photojournalist NADAV NEUHAUS
has joined its growing team of extraordinary photojournalists in the
Middle East. The move to sign Neuhaus is part of ZUMA's ongoing efforts to boost its coverage of
the region and follows the signing of Osama Silwadi in Palestine last
month.
Neuhaus is a seasoned photojournalist who has covered
the Zapatista movement in Mexico, the Taliban in India, the war Kosovo and
has spent over a decade documenting the Israeli/Palestinian
conflict.
Best known for his 2002 coverage of the siege in the
Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Neuhaus' images have been published
as double-page spreads in Newsweek and have also appeared in
numerous other media outlets around the world, including TIME
Magazine and Paris Match. Neuhaus attributes his strong coverage of
that standoff to his well-established relationship with Israeli
authorities.
"I have been covering Gaza and the ongoing
conflict for so many years that I have developed a very special
relationship with the army. Even I am often surprised at the amount of
trust and access they allow me!" says Neuhaus.
He is currently
working on two long-term projects: "Victims of Terror," now in its eighth
month of development, explores the human tragedy on both Palestinian and
Israeli sides of Gaza. "Gaza Since the First Intifada" is a 15-year
documentary of the Israeli side of the Gaza strip, including its
settlements, habitants, Army Special Ops and more.
Neuhaus
began his career with Sygma and was later represented by Corbis. He is now
available for editorial assignments through ZUMA
Press. For more information, please contact Ruaridh Stewart, ZUMA's picture desk manager, at
949.481.3747.

With two great tear sheets in leading
entertainment weeklies (above), it has been a really good week for
KPA-ZUMA Hollywood shooter RENA DURHAM.
In Touch Weekly
ran this sweet moment between actors ASHTON KUTCHER and DEMI MOORE as a
full page in the May 17, 2004, issue (page five). The picture was taken at
Cheaper by the Dozen's L.A. premiere.
And Us
Weekly ran this hot shot of LINDSAY LOHAN and MISCHA BARTON at the
2004 Vanity Fair Oscar after-party as a double-page spread (see
pages 52-53 in the May 17, 2004, issue). Nice work,
Rena!
