Saul Bromberger & Sandra Hoover

A Family Affair

March 22, 2007 - Alameda, CA - "We look at our team collaboration as part of the creative process, and we can't imagine not working together." Stated husband and wife team Saul Bromberger and Sandra Hoover. "We've just reached this wonderful comfort level where we know each other so well, and where we rely on each other for concept ideas and technical support during the photo shoot, as well as afterwards during the postproduction phase of the job. The working together takes place whenever possible - when meeting with a client, to scouting locations, to creating concepts, to the actual photo shoot."

Saul and Sandra are represented worldwide by ZUMA Press. They specialize in Portrait, Healthcare, Lifestyle and Family photography, and are dedicated to creating images that convey hope for the future.

The couple began work as a team during the early 1990's, when they lived in Seattle, WA., and began a documentary project which lasted two and a half years on the AIDS hospice 'Bailey-Boushay House'. There they focused on the clients, their families, the facility's staff, and the volunteers. Since then they have moved to the S.F. Bay Area, where they are concentrating on building their photography business and raising their family. The couple has two young sons, ages seven and two.
