ZUMA Expands Spanish Reach and Market

June 22, 2006 - ZUMA Press, the world's largest independent press agency and wire service, and EFE, the number-one Spanish language news agency and number four wire service in the world, today announced an agreement granting EFE rights to license a ZUMA feed of content to Spanish language newspapers and magazines in North and South America. The announcement is part of ZUMA's ongoing effort to expand its reach and penetration in all markets especially in the Spanish language markets.

Sales of zReportage essays and news exclusives to Spanish language media will remain in the hands of John Camarillo, ZUMA's Latin market sales manager. He will also continue to negotiate large-scale network deals that increase ZUMA's market share among providers to U.S. Hispanic and Latin American media.
